Mijat Gačinović is a Serbian professional football player. He was born on February 8, 1995, in Novi Sad, Serbia. Gačinović primarily plays as a midfielder. Gačinović started his youth career at FK Vojvodina, one of the most successful football clubs in Serbia. He made his professional debut for the club in May 2014 and quickly established himself as a key player. Gačinović's impressive performances caught the attention of scouts from various European clubs. In July 2016, Gačinović signed with Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. He had a successful stint at the German club, becoming an integral player in their midfield. Gačinović helped Eintracht Frankfurt reach the UEFA Europa League semifinals in the 2018-2019 season. After spending five seasons at Eintracht Frankfurt, Gačinović transferred to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in October 2020.
